Limited socialising is already permitted (the rule of six) and schools have been back for a while but next will be pubs and clubs and shops.
Though there will still be restrictions and continued use of masks and social-distancing, it is the best we have seen in England for a while, with the other countries of the UK also easing their Lockdowns as well.
How long will it last? Maybe the vaccines with give much greater resistance, but with new strains of COVID-19 appearing, it is hard to say.
But any return to socialising is going to be welcomed by most of us.
