So now we face a third lockdown, as a result of the second wave of COVID-19.
This was almost expected it but still feels restrictive. After a few freedoms appearing in late 2020, and the limited socialising of Christmas, a full national lockdown for most of the UK is a little bit of a shock.
It is clear that it is needed and there needs to be some response to the rising death toll and increasing infection. It is the logical thing to do and will hopefully save many lives.
But coming at the the coldest and darkest part of the year, where generally there are few things to do at the best of times, it doesn't feel great.
Let's just hope that it doesn't need to go on too long...
