I'm one for the sun and warm air and light nights when you can sit out and have a few beers. Time on the beach or in the hills or wherever without loads of layers.
April is often the turning point and this year it has flipped the switch big time. One day it was cold and breezy and the next we had no wind and blue skies and temperatures into the twenties. Almost tropical for Northern England.
Maybe it won't last and it could be that we'll have rain and wet weather next week but at the moment I'm sitting outside a pub with a cold beer and everyone is in shorts or summer dresses or light t-shirts. Nice warm-weather clothes. What a super Easter Sunday!
