Summer's Gone

Well, that's another summer  come and gone. Here were are in autumn again, my second least favourite season.

At least with winter there is spring to look forward to, my second favourite season. But autumn - it just has that end of year, holidays-over, back-to-school feel. Always kind of depressing with the nights drawing in, rainy days, fog and all that.

But there must be some positives.

I suppose it's easier to get a good night's sleep with the sun setting soon after teatime (or before, once the clocks change, agh!). And there are no wasps and bees around (in theory, at least - I have seen the odd wasp). And there is the time for reading and, what is that other thing I do? Oh, yeah, writing. Been quite lax on that recently.

So it's a time to think and sleep and write and not get stung.

Not too bad, really?
