Write like crazy

I've got a deal to get some stuff published, which is pretty amazing but there's a couple of catches.

First thing is it's all electronic, eBook thingies rather than nice paper books you find in old book shops and such like. It doesn't feel quite as nice doing it this way. It's not like I don't approve of stuff like that it just doesn't feel like I've really made it as a writer. Not really.

The other catch is the money, as in none. Not a penny up front. If it sells I get some but there's none of the advance thingy that used to happen to writers, that, 'Hey my book is published and I got a £100,000 advance!' or whatever.

So no money and no real book. Sounds a bit of a bum deal, doesn't it? But all that being said, someone is going to take my writing (Lakeland Writers, to name names) and try and flog it. And people will be able to read it if they want to. At last.

So catches aside, I'm really made up about it, happy to do it. Now I just need more stuff to give them. Time to write like crazy.
