Sedbergh Folk Festival

Went to a little festival this weekend. Thought it would be nice to chill out on the grass and listen to some music.

Then the rain came.

It wasn't the weather that was the big deal, it was how people reacted. The organisers shrugged and threw out a couple of bails of hay. When people wanted to leave, local farmers appeared to tow them out with their tractors at £5 a go. The farmers seemed to find it all quite funny. The more they towed the worse the field got and the more people had to pay.

Not in the spirit of it I thought. Spoiled it all for me. Won't be camping at that one again. Or going, even.

Farewell Sedbergh...
